Teez is a Los Angeles–based agency that handles creative strategy and content execution for food and beverage brands, with a focus on bold, scroll-worthy social media. Their client roster includes a mix of legacy names and emerging products— from Japanese sake to canned fruit to keto bread.
The challenge
Teez needed a reliable social copywriter who could quickly understand each brand’s distinct voice and write engaging monthly captions that aligned with pre-approved visuals. With multiple brands and tight deadlines, they needed someone who could jump in fast, stay consistent, and bring creativity to every post.
My approach
Each month, I review the visual content calendars for several Teez-managed brands, including Takara Sake USA, Del Monte, and Extraordinary Bites. Then I craft Instagram captions that:
Match each brand’s tone, whether refined, playful, or down-to-earth
Translate product features into audience-focused benefits
Encourage engagement through clever hooks, strong CTAs, or relatable moments
Balance storytelling with platform best practices (hashtags, line breaks, readability)
